It's all about Perspective

Today I posted pictures of what the chapel currently looks like. To most I’m sure it looks like a nightmare. To me, its a work in progress. It was much worse when I first bought the building but I was able to see past the rubble and have a vision of what is to come.. I know God walks with me through this process and I am blessed each and every day in ways I never expect. Standing in the chapel gives me a visual of what God must see when he looks down on us. He stands and knows that there is debris and sees the chaos and yet there is always beauty and light in the midst. He doesn’t give up on us and I for one am glad of that. I am much calmer than anyone should be in this situation and more certain that he is with me than at any other time in my life. I know this church/building is going to be a center for community, kindness, and love. I love everything fiber art gives me. I can be creative, I get to teach, I get to help others become confident in themselves and in their skills. I have always wanted to be a positive impact for change. Nothing earth shattering but real change. The kind that is built when, long after I am gone, people will be working fiber arts. Meeting with each other teaching others and not letting these priceless skills become lost. My soap box but its what I want to happen and by staying positive during this renovation I believe what I put out there will come to pass. Please take a gander at my gofundme. https://www.gofundme.com/f/renovate-to-educate and if you can help please do. or if you know someone that would take an interest in seeing this project complete and willing to donate spread the word.

This is really progress. I’ can see it. I am shoveling out more and more every day and reclaiming any lumber that could be useful. I am always working towards the light. So I never lose sight of what I am working towards or where I am during the process. I have the best view ever.
